Chanel Polish

 I was going through my polishes today and found a trend.  Over the years I have collected a number of Chanel polishes.  I think the main reason I am so drawn to them is the fact that they are mostly limited edition colors and I love a fashion exclusive.  One color that is a constant is Vamp.  I remember buying my first bottle while I was still in high school.  Many years later it is still popular and was reintroduced last year.  Yes, they are a splurge but there is something special about looking down at those interlocking C's that makes them so special. 

BACK IN THE LIMELIGHT

 I am officially back in action.  I had a wonderful weekend with my friends.  Sunday was the best part of the weekend.  I met up with my girls Jenn and Addie at an old bar called Zimms.  Zimms is classified as a Martini bar and is located off Montrose and Richmond.  I doubt that Zimms would like being classified as "old" but lets be honest, its been there for the good part of 10 years and pretty much looks the same as it always had.  They did however get new furniture which was very comfortable and they have updated the restrooms.  Also, they have an incredible bartender named Perin.  Not only is he a doll but he serves up a mean gummybear shot.  I never take shot but this didn't even taste like one.  A great bartender can make or break a bar.  We had a blast and when we got hungry we ran next door to Thai Sticks and got some appetizers which they conviently delivered to the bar.  These days I haven't really been feeling Martinis so I found a great Pinot Noir and stuck with that.  While we were there we made friends with a doctor, a nurse and a group of fantastic queens.  Super fun Sunday Funday.  Next time I will bring my camera so I can properly document the event.
