Suprise, Suprise

A few days ago my mom presents me with a mysterious box she found in her car, the one that sits dead in our enormous driveway.  I know its kind of strange.  The car has not worked in a few years but my Mom refuses to get rid of it.  Its not my business so I don't bother asking her about it.  Well, the whole reason she even found it was that she had to unlock the car because it had to be moved by the people painting the outside of our house.  At first my Mom thought it was a bomb.  Yes, a bomb.  No, I am not making this up.  Seriously, who wants to bomb our house?  This is not the Middle East.  Anyways I check it out and find that it holds a pair of shoes I ordered from Europe over a year ago.  I contacted the company last year and let them know I never received it and they told me it got lost in the mail and refunded my money.  Oh, it got lost somewhere all right.  The bad part is the shoes are half a size too small and the soles have melted off because they have been sitting in a hot car for over one year.  They are great shoes so when I start to feel a bit better I am going to take them to the shoe hospital and see if they can be salvaged.  So keep your fingers crossed and I will post a pic as soon as they have been repaired.

Invite Media is sold!

Congrats to my brother Michael and his business partners on selling their company, Invite Media, to Google.  Yes people, I said GOOGLE.  It is truly every computer nerds dream.  Our family couldn't be more excited for him to reach his dream at the young age of 24.  He has worked his ass off for the last few years and deserves every bit of praise and recognition.  I cannot wait to visit him next month in New York so we can celebrate!  To learn more about his company please check out www.invitemedia.com
